Biography

Wu Baojin, Associate Chief Physician and Associate Professor, works in the Department of Plastic Surgery, Huashan Hospital, Fudan University. He has experience in the resection and reconstruction of body surface tumors, total ear reconstruction, breast reduction for macromastia, inverted nipples, gynecomastia, birthmarks and pigmented nevi, minimally invasive treatment of axillary osmidrosis, scar prevention and treatment, and the repair and reconstruction of post-burn/post-traumatic and congenital deformities. As a key member of the project team, he participated in two research projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and two funded by the Shanghai Science and Technology Development Fund, and has published more than 10 academic papers. He specializes in plastic surgery and aesthetic surgery, with meticulous surgical technique and a pursuit of minimally invasive and non-invasive outcomes.

Plastic Surgery: ① Breast surgery (male breast hypertrophy, female macromastia, reduction mammaplasty, correction of breast ptosis, removal of injected breast materials, correction of inverted nipples, nipple-areola plastic surgery, endoscope-assisted dual-plane breast augmentation; especially rich and unique experience in minimally invasive plastic surgery for gynecomastia and MDT multidisciplinary diagnosis and treatment); ② Microtia and auricular reconstruction (autologous costal cartilage and MEDPOR framework).

2. Aesthetic Surgery: Focuses on aesthetic eye surgery, emphasizing minimally invasive, personalized, and precise aesthetic design. Particularly skilled in small-incision double eyelid surgery, Park's method double eyelid surgery, minimally invasive natural double eyelid surgery, one-point or three-point suture double eyelid surgery, comprehensive eye surgery; scarless eye bag removal; correction of upper eyelid laxity/ptosis and periorbital aging.

3. Dermatologic Surgery: ① Meticulous aesthetic excision and reconstruction of various skin birthmarks, pigmented nevi, and benign and malignant body surface tumors (facial nevi, hairy nevi, epidermal cysts, lipomas, neurofibromas, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma); ② non-invasive and minimally invasive treatment of axillary osmidrosis and axillary hyperhidrosis.

4. Minimally Invasive Plastic Surgery: precise facial injectable microplasty, liposuction, intimate plastic surgery, botulinum toxin for wrinkle reduction/facial slimming; minimally invasive aesthetic plastic surgery for facial rejuvenation.
